Chapter 53. Face to Face

Lilyana's back that was leaning against his was stared at until she was getting deeper into the house and was no longer visible in his eyes. He rubbed his entire face, then sat back down and took a sip from the cup that had been sitting on the small table on the terrace of his house.

"How can I hallucinate like this," said Gladwin, who then rubbed his face again.

He felt something strange with his mind. His heart was beating very fast earlier, but a few seconds later his eyes darkened in a split second and then he saw Lilyana running towards him with a cheerful face.

"Is this the so-called disease of old age?" Gladwin muttered under his breath.

A few minutes passed, when Gladwin was still enjoying the scenery in his front yard and greeting some people who passed by, suddenly he smelled a strong perfume.
