Chapter 144

Rodriguez smiled gratefully as he took the bottle of water. Everyone around had their drink as they refilled their taste. Mia fed Lux as well as she locked up the cage.

The vehicle soon drove in.

“I think this is the real tour. The last one felt like I was in pre school” Rodriguez said

Leticia smiled.

“We'd be heading into the savannah to see animals native to that habitat” Leticia said.

“We'd be seeing the lions too?” Mia asked.

“Exactly” Leticia responded.

“Now the fun at the zoo begins” Rodriguez said giggling.

Leticia once more briefed them on expectations as they assisted them into the truck which was caged to keep the animals away.

Once they where settled in. Mia stared at her father as she smiled. He seemed very excited to be on the tour. She had not seen him this stress free and happy in a long time.

“What if the vehicles fall over? I heard lions are like big cats and they love to roll things over” Rodriguez said.
