Chapter 59

"Uhm what was this award for again? Ohh, thank you so much." She chuckles softly to herself while the crowd disperses.

After the scene with Tammy Ferrera, they walk out of the hall in laughter. Lewis was never looking forward to hanging out with stuck up ladies from wealthy backgrounds. Probably children of other criminals who were hiding under the guise of corporate companies. He had not expected this. He has seen more drama today than he has seen in years. 

They wait outside while Sam drives out with their ride. He walks out and opens the car door for Emily and Lewis. Lewis lets her go in first, then he enters the car and they zoom off. They drive in silence for a while until Emily decides to crack the silence by voicing her thoughts.
