Chapter 29. A Talk with Gwen
Ethan had just finished his warm bath, his body freshly cleaned. The fragrance of magnolia flowers filled every part of his body. He wore an elegant night robe as he walked to his bed. He purposely let his mind go blank because he had been thinking too much for many days.
As he let out a deep sigh, a comforting warmth spread through his body. A pair of delicate hands wrapped around his waist, and a head rested gently on his shoulders.
“I haven’t seen you for weeks, my Lord. Where have you been?” Gwen’s voice whispered, soft, sweet, and alluring. Without turning to look at her, he smiled.
