The parade didn’t last for long. They were moving down the street, so soon, Amara found herself standing on an empty street. Her face down, her hands tightly fisted. Ethan was nowhere to be found either. She stood there contemplating what to do next.
She loathed herself for falling so much in love. She wasn’t used to this kind of feeling. She grew up forming her own path, independent, a strong woman with a mind of her own.
