Chapter 32. The Little Boy
Lost in thoughts, Amara didn’t notice when someone stood beside her. She was staring at the opposite direction of the now quite street.
“Sorry,” a voice called, a familiar voice.
Amara jolted back to reality to see the same person she was thinking about standing before her. It was Ethan Blackwood.
His expression was colder than normal, he looked like he was about to throw a fit with anyone, but the sorry that came from his mouth was rather soothing. Almost familiar to the one in her dreams.
Amara stared at those grey eyes for a while, before looking away to avoid any ill-thoughts of him. She feared if she looked on any further, her desire for him would be too evident.
“It’s okay,” Amara brought herself to say, “I had a great time though.”
Ethan rose a brow, his lips curled up into a faint smile, “really?” he teased looking at the empty street.
Amara said nothing.
“You would have gone home, why wait?”
