Chapter 63. Don't Feel Good

Atticus wasn’t talking to me. Technically, he was, but he had developed Justin’s bad attitude and had been giving me short answers for the past week, and it was making me mad.

I had asked him a million times why he was angry, which was stupid of me when I knew the exact reason he was angry, but the fact was that he had told me the same one million times that he wasn’t angry, and I should stop apologising to him every time I saw him.

It killed me to know that I was the one who had hurt him with my words, and he wasn’t over it, even though he wouldn’t admit it. Aside from my words, the fact that we haven’t caught whoever it was that sent that letter still bothers him, and now I was stuck at home till they found the person.
