ALANA’S POV

*In the forbidden forests*

“Alana snap out of it!” My mother says shaking me awake from the trance I was just in. I have never had a vision before.

“I think I just got a vision Mom.” Her eyes grow wide at my statement.

“But you’re not a seer. You’re a nature witch. How can you get a vision?” She questions.

“I have no idea mom but that’s what it felt like. It felt like a pull, it felt so real.” I say still shivering from what I just saw.

“Come on. If there’s anyone who can explain, it’s the supreme witch.”

She grabs my hand quickly and leads us out of our little house. Far into the forbidden forests is where the witches and some humans who have escaped tyranny live. We’ve been here for decades, too scared to meet the cruelty of the outside world. Everything is simple for us in here.
