I woke up to see Cassian, without a shirt and smiling at me, as my eyes opened. Memories of last night came rushing back, making my cheeks turn red. He had completely won my heart. We spent the whole night in each other's arms, making love until sunrise. It then hit me that I was only wearing a white bedsheet.

"Good morning, my love," he said in his deep morning voice. My stomach fluttered at the sound. "Good morning," I whispered back. Cassian leaned in and kissed my forehead. He asked, "Are you feeling okay? Any soreness or discomfort?" I smiled at his worry and shook my head. "Not much. All I know is that you were gentle with me last night."
