'Did I hear Valeria say what I think she said?' I thought to myself in disbelief.

"Miss Hale..." I couldn't help but call out questioningly.

Before I could say or ask anything more, she cut me off and said while looking straight into my eyes.

"Call me Valeria and yes, you heard me right. I did ask you to... kiss me. So do it."

Excitement bubbled inside me the moment I confirmed that I indeed heard her correctly. It was the excitement of a hunter when a prey finally walked into the trap he had meticulously set up.

After so long, I could finally know whether Valeria Hale really had some kind of effect on my unspeakable condition.
