Edmund put on a more serious look. "You ate snacks, Mom. You must have known that the sodium content was high, so why did you eat three large packets? Did you deliberately raise your blood pressure so you could ask Alice to look after you?"

Elizabeth didn't answer. Blinking slowly, she looked away.

"Then you asked for pizza, while Mrs. Klein and the others had made a special menu for you," Edmund continued. "I don't think you're stupid enough to believe Giselle. Healthy pizza, really? The sodium content is still high even without cheese. Are you a child? Don't you have good self-control? Or did you deliberately make your blood pressure rise so you could blame Alice?"

Elizabeth glanced at him for a second, but her lips remained tightly pressed. Edmund suspected that she was cursing under her breath. He glanced at the monitor. Seeing that the blood pressure numbers
