Liana’s POV
I didn’t know what to expect when Killian kept driving without saying a word. His jaw was tight, his eyes locked on the road like nothing else mattered. But I definitely wasn’t expecting this.
A mansion.
No—not just a mansion—a palace pretending to be a home. The tall iron gates opened the second he pulled up. The driveway stretched so long it felt as if we were entering another world. At the end of it stood a house so big and beautiful it looked like something from a dream or maybe a nightmare.
Killian drove straight into the garage. He didn’t say a thing or even glance at me. He just got out, went to the back seat, and picked Ryan up gently as if he was holding something precious.
I sat there frozen, watching him like I didn’t belong here. Because honestly, I didn’t.
Just then, a butler appeared from nowhere and bowed deeply.
“Alpha,” the man said respectfully.
