Ryan’s POV

I never knew she felt this way. She didn’t know that while I was at the board meeting trying to convince the board of directors and the human investors about my relationship with Anna, I was barely able to think straight. The only thing on my mind the entire time was her. Her face. Her voice. Her touch. I kept tapping my fingers under the table like a madman, wishing the goddamn meeting would end so I could be with her. I hadn’t even expected it to take that long.
