Chapter 61
Ryan’s POV
The black van Alex had brought was parked right outside the hospital building, its engine still running, the back doors wide open. My eyes narrowed as I walked closer, my steps heavy with anger, my fists clenching tighter with every second.
Inside the van, two men sat hunched over in handcuffs, their mouths gagged and their eyes blindfolded. One of them had piercings all over his face and ears, rings and studs glinting under the dim streetlights, his jaw sharp but his expression twisted into something that almost looked like amusement despite his state. The other had tinted golden hair and dark tattoos running down his neck and arms, marks that looked like they’d been carved to provoke, to show a life of defiance.
Both men were strangers to me, faces I’d never seen before, yet something about them sent a sharp bolt of rage through my veins.
“Alpha,” Alex said firmly, coming to stand beside me. “They’re the ones.”
