Liana’s POV
“Killian… what are you doing here?”
“Shhh.”
His voice. His actual voice. It echoed through my room in the middle of the night—3 a.m. And before I could even process what was happening, he was locking my window from where he had just entered from. I blinked, sitting up slowly on the bed, my heart thudding.
“Killian—”
He didn’t give me time to speak. He walked toward me with a heat in his eyes that made my breath catch. No hesitation. No explanation. He started stripping—his shirt first, flung to the floor, followed by his belt and pants. Every movement was fast, desperate, like he’d been waiting years, not days, to touch me again.
I sat frozen, lips parted, my pulse racing as he climbed onto my bed and crawled toward me.
