Winter's POV

"Penny for your thought?"

I only came back to my senses when I heard Winston's voice. I immediately stood up and smiled at him. 

"I'm sorry. Have you been watching me spacing out here?"

"Not really. I just arrived, too."

"That's good then. Here, take a seat."

He nodded his head and sat down on the couch across from where I was sitting. "It's good to see you again."

"Yeah. I still can't believe we're finally talking again. I really thought we will never see each other again."

"You're right. I'm just so glad to see you doing well."

"Me too. Anyway, I have made a presentation regarding the company's performance these past few weeks and our strategic plans for the future."

Winston and I continued talking about our collaboration for almost two hours. He also kept on making side jokes which made the mood lighter. He never really changed, that's what I have been thinking the whole time. He still treats me the way
