Teyana’s POV
Zayne straightened. I hated that I could feel the tension sparking between them already. God no. Then he scoffed.
“He just always has to walk in and spoil everything,” Zayne said, a bitter grin flashing across his lips. “Main character fucking syndrome, Jeremy. Huh?”
Jeremy’s eyes remained same. He folded himself into that stillness I knew too well—calm on the surface, the kind of quiet that meant something dangerous was coiled underneath.
“Well,” he said, voice even, “Teyana now knows you slept with Stacy. So perhaps you can leave her alone.”
