I never thought I’d be here to do this today—tracking her down. Stalking her like some obsessed fool. But I was going to find her tonight anyway, or sleep would be far away from me.

Carol had brought her to one of the best high-end clubs in Los Alamos. That had only compelled me further to come find her. My Teyana didn’t belong here. She was too naive for the kind of dirty activities that happen in this club.
