Placing Teyana gently on the bed, I removed her heels despite her numerous whining. I cursed under my breath at the sight of her vulnerable, panties revealing with her leg slightly raised while I peeled the heels off her feet. I shoved my dark unhinged thoughts down. This wasn’t about me, not about the intense carnally lust that was almost consuming me right now. It was about keeping her safe.
“Sleep,” I said firmly, rising. “Tomorrow, you can be angry at me. But right now, it’s better than letting you keep being reckless in that club.”
