Teyana’s POV
My heart was pounding as I walked down the hallway to Carol’s dorm. I didn’t even wait for her to open the door fully before I stepped inside.
She pulled me in, shut the door behind us, and told me to sit down.
“Tell me you didn’t mean what you told me on the phone,” I said impatiently.
“I think it is.” She responded as a matter of what looked like a fact.
Carol exhaled slowly, as though she was trying to choose her words carefully. “There was this woman on his wallpaper, I asked who she was and he said she’s his mother.”
I frowned. “You’ve not even seen Jeremy’s mother before, so how did you know it was her on his wallpaper?”
