Chapter 101. Sign

I went outside for some air and to find Alexander but I didn’t see any sign of him at the station. I even asked around and nobody had any idea where he was.

Then I decided to go over to the parking lot to see if he was in the car. But when I got there, his car wasn’t parked in the spot he parked when we arrived.

Alexander looked so angry when he stormed out of the room and I couldn’t help but wonder where he had gone. Just as I was about to retrieve my phone from my bag to call him, my phone buzzed with a text notification.

I let out a relieved sigh when I saw Alexander’s name on the screen. He texted to inform me that he was sorry he left without me and that his driver was coming to pick me up.

It was then it dawned on me that he was my ride and he left without saying anything. But I couldn’t blame him, he was really upset by the recent revelation.
