Chapter 18. Confession

I rested my head on my mysterious man's shoulder, trying to figure out what was going on in my life. After some time, I turned my head towards him, only to find his eyes on me. He was looking at me with so much love. His eyes were the first thing that took my heart then his smile and gestures were the ones which made me want to take the risk of falling in love again. 

Tears welled up in my eyes remembering how he left me alone in that hotel room. I wanted to confess my feelings to him, but destiny showed me that I meant to be alone.

"What happened? Why are you crying?" I touched my cheeks, only to realise I was shedding tears. I was so lost in his thoughts that I didn't notice when my tears betrayed my eyes.

"Don't worry... No one can harm you when I'm here. Please don't cry." He muttered and wiped my tears lovingly. I chuckled and parted away from him. 

"Do you think I'm crying because of fear of losing my life?" I chuckled and
