The worst thing is I left her alone after arguing.
It reminded me of our first fight after we grew up. I left her in the hotel room after an argument and then she slipped from the stairs in haste to stop me.
"How can I repeat the same mistake?" I thought and clutched my hair frustratingly, realising I had broken the promise I made to her. I told her I would never leave her after arguing but I failed. I ran towards her room without thinking much. All I want to do is to check on her.
"Christian" I stopped mid when Jennifer gave me a voice. She smiled and came near me.
"Are you going to meet Ivanna?" She asked. I moved my hand towards my neck, trying to hide my anxiety in front of her. The thought that my butterfly had a panic attack was enough to make me anxious. All I want is to see if she is fine or not.
"Yeah," I replied and tightened my lips before I uttered something in front of her that I shouldn't.
