I didn't ask anything and sat with Alex in his car, wanting to know what he was planning and why he called me here. Moreover, I trust him. He will never harm me and my daughter.

"Alex, would you tell me where you are taking me?" I asked after we settled down in the car. He looked at me and then ahead at the road while driving to god knows where.

"Alex" I called him when Jennifer started crying as it was time to feed her.

"Why is she crying?" He panicked as if his daughter were crying. I look at him carelessly.

"Why do you care? She is not your daughter" I asked.

"But she is your daughter, and anything related to you is precious to me. She is blood-related to you.” He muttered. I scrunched my eyebrow. He looked at me and smiled before turning his face towards the road.

“Remember, I promised you to take care of you and your family and treat them as mine. It means she is my daughter as well.” He winked at me. I opened my mout
