Chapter 34. Dark Night

I called the waiter and ordered my favourite food, feeling ravenous.
"I'm sorry. I spoiled your mood so much that you were about to leave with an empty stomach" he apologised looking at the ground, feeling guilty. I kept my hand over his.
"It's okay" He looked at my hand and then at me before nodding his head. Soon the food arrived and I started eating it like a beggar who didn't get food for a week but soon I realised my mistake when food got stuck in my throat and I started coughing.
"Hey." He rushed towards me and rubbed my back, tapping on it… I was relieved soon. He made me drink water and then wiped my tears which came out because of a continuous cough.
"I know you're hungry but eat slowly... No one is snatching your food" He scolded me and then went to his side when I nodded my head. I resumed my eating but this time like a normal human being. I was having the last bite of my meal when my eyes went on him, only to catch him st
