"You forget… We have to go to your friend's party" My eyes shot up realising I forgot about the business party.

"He is not my friend" I muttered and shook my head. "I have to attend this party because he offered to invest in my and Aaron's project."

"Ohh.. So let's go" I nod my head. I thought of visiting the venue with Christian as a couple but then dropped the idea with the thought of him catching the eyes of my enemies.

"What happened?" Christian asked as I was not hoping out of his car.

"We can't go inside"

"Huh?"

"We can't go inside as a couple" He parted his lips in shock but then covered his emotions with a forced smile. I can see my sudden back out hurt him but he is pretending to be fine for me... Oh god, now what should I do?

"Christian" I called his name, trying to figure out how to tell him my life is not as luxurious as it looks.

"I can understand… You're not ready for any commitment" He mumbled,
