Chapter 19

I sighed and looked at the digital clock beside me. It’s already 12:30 p.m. at night and he still hasn’t come home. He is going to sleep in the penthouse he has in his company.

I stood up to go to his bedroom, but I stopped in my tracks when I heard the sound of the car.

I quickly turned around and I saw Adrian entering the mansion. He had pulled away from his Armani suit blazer. Now he was unbuttoning his white shirt.

I quickly approached him. "So, how was your day, Adrian?" I asked.

He looked at me while tilting his head backward. "Why,’so sweet’ today, do you want something?" he asked as he made his way upstairs.

"Nothing, I’m just casually asking," she says.I shrugged, walking with him.

"Wait for your dinner, you must be hungry," I advised.

"I already had dinner at the business dinner meeting," he said, not looking at me.

"Oh, I see."
