Chapter 132. Unforeseen

Dawn's POV

I thought I had calmed down in the course of our discussion at the Alpha's office but I hadn't because by the time we were through with the discussion and we had to go back to our rooms, my gaze caught that of Asher and my ears started ringing in annoyance.

I quickly got up from the chair when the meeting was over and quickly walked past everybody to the room.

I didn't want a confrontation with Asher in the presence of everyone. I knew he was going to try and talk to me, that was why I hurriedly walked into the room so we could do it in private.

I got to the room, closed the door and started pacing in anticipation that he would soon be there. I waited for the first five minutes still wondering if he got held up with something on his way to the room.

Another five minutes went by and he still didn't show up but I still kept thinking that it was possible the boys stayed back to discuss something so this time I sat down to wait for him.
