“Who are you? This land is a private property of my family! You’re trespassing!” Leila roared while her eyes sharply looked at the guy in front of her.

But the guy just smiled and leaned against the tree. “You must be Leila Aragon... Although it’s been a while since we last spoke, I still remember the days when we were close. I’m Connor, your parent’s friend and visitor of the Sapphire pack...”

Leila raised her eyebrows. “When you’re visiting our house, please remember to get permission before you explore...” she retorted, picking up her clothes and sliding them on, “I’m sure you understand you don’t want an outsider roaming around your territory either.”

Leila doesn’t understand the feeling of indifference towards Connor, which is why she decides not to shift into her wolf for fear of him discovering her secret.
