Chapter 25

Lucio’s POV

[The next day]

I woke up and did my morning routine. I wore blue jeans and a white shirt, leaving the first three buttons unbuttoned. Then I combed my hair. I walked out and went directly to the dining room where I found Lucia.

“Good morning,” I said.

“Good morning,” she murmured.

I called Yvonne, and she brought me my breakfast. I made sure that we finished at the same time with Lucia. I left before her so that she would not get suspicious of what I was planning to do. I parked my car some blocks away where she couldn’t see it. When she drove off, I followed her.

She drove and stopped in front of the Light Corporation office building. What is she going to do? I saw her getting out and giving the guard the car keys so that he could go and park it. I waited till she walked inside the building then I drove in the premises compound.

The guard stopped me, thus, I slowed down. Since my window was open, I could clearly see and hear wha
