The girl cheered. She lifted her tiny arms so that I could carry her, and I did.

“I’ve been missing you, Daddy,” She said with her little, sweet voice.

I smiled at her gently. Her presence brought so much joy to my heart, and this feeling was new to me.

“Hello, little princess,” I greeted her. She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me.

“What is your name?” I asked gently.
