The following day, Ellis took the kids to spend the time at the penthouse, and I was meeting up with David tonight. I wore a long cream-white silk dress and heels. I let my hair cascade down my back and went downstairs.

‘Why are you looking like that when you’re going to break up with him?’ Vee asked.

‘I always look like this,’ I told her.

‘Now, you’ll make it hard for him to let you go,’ she hissed.
