We take off, running to goddess knows where. We keep knocking people to the ground as the officers are chasing after us through the streets now.
We turn a corner, still running. I’m laughing like we won’t get in trouble when caught. Honestly, this is fun. Knox pulls me into a hidden spot and places a finger on his lip, telling me to be quiet. I nod, but I’m still smiling.
“I think we have lost them,” he whispers, poking his head out to check.
“I’ve never done anything like that before. It’s stimulating,” I say.
“I’m an expert at evading the law. You are in good hands, Princess,” he winks.
He wears a severe face, “Okay, there is a reception desk over there. We should ask what time the train is returning, if it delays we can get a taxi and head back to the hospital before they discover you are missing,”
