My heart was thumping in my chest. Edward was here and he wanted to see me. However, I wasn’t surprised that he was here, Blanco warned me that Edward attacked him at the king’s party. I wasn’t ready to see my mate but I needed to hear what he had to say.

“I’m tired, I’ll see him when I can,” I said, leaving my best friend dumbfounded. Levy followed me upstairs and I narrowed my gaze at him.

“He doesn’t look like he’ll leave anytime soon,” He informed me.

“I don’t care, and please tell him that if he forces his way in like he did last time, he’ll never see me again,” I said coldly. I wasn’t going to entertain him after what he did to me but it would be nice to see Love again. I missed everyone at the manor even though I resented them for not trying to get in contact with me.
