Chapter 104. Bonus Chapter

Marcus POV

I was staring at the priestess as she tended to my injury, my inner Lycan would have healed it but he liked the way she was treating it.

“Marcus, what were you doing in these areas again, you know it’s not your territory, right?” She frowned in a way that made her so cute and I purred. I FUCKING purred. I was embarrassed. Selena laughed and again, the sound of her laughter made my heart flutter with unfamiliar feelings.

It had been two years since I saw her last at my pack when she came to help out with my brother’s issue. I recently ran into her in the city and ever since that day, my inner Lycan has been wanting to see her. Selena was still scrutinizing me, waiting for an answer.

“Um, I was hunting and I just found myself here,” I came up with the dumbest excuse. I was watching her practice with her swords and when she sensed me, she lost her focus and grazed my leg.

“You are very good with these,” I said, getting to my feet and almo
