Chapter 91. A Miracle

"Eve!" called Mrs. Kate as she knocked on her daughter's bedroom door. 

"Yes, Mommy," Eve answered from inside. 

"Can you come in?" asked Mrs. Kate. 

"Just come in, Mom," Eve replied. 

Eve was applying a little makeup. The girl sat in front of the mirror, looking very beautiful. Mrs. Kate smiled when she saw her daughter. 

"Gery is waiting out front," said Mrs. Kate. 

"Really?" asked Eve. 

Mrs. Kate nodded. Eve quickly finished the makeup on her face. Eve didn't want Gery to wait too long for her. Eve took her sling bag and then put on her shoes. 

"Then, Eve will go first," Eve said goodbye. 

Eve said goodbye to Mrs. Kate and walked to the front of her house. Sure enough, Gery was already sitting with a cup of coffee. 

"Are you done?" Gery asked. 

Eve nodded, and Gery smiled slightly. Gery went inside first to say goodbye to Mrs. Kate. Afterward, Gery and Eve walk
