Chapter 97. So Sorry

"Sorry, I'm sorry for being unable to be sensitive to your feelings. I'm sorry for making you jealous and hurt, Eve," Gery whispered softly. The two of them were still hugging, and the hug was even more potent when Gery whispered those words. 

Gery felt guilty. Even yesterday, he did not explain anything to Eve. However, what Eve saw earlier was partially true. Eve didn't see the incident until the end to come to that conclusion. 

When he felt Eve was calmer, Gery tried to release their embrace. The man looked profoundly and lovingly at Eve's nether regions. Eve was again made to blush because of Gery's sweet treatment. Eve then looked down, hiding her face that was flushed with embarrassment. Her hands also interlocked and twisted the hem of her shirt. Gery smiled slightly when he saw how shaky Eve's hands were. 

I don't know what made Eve so embarrassed. Gery didn't know. Either because of the sudden kiss he gave her or the words he had just said.
