Chapter 26. A Man I’ve Always Known

We said nothing to each for the rest of the car ride, which is awkward because it was quite a long drive too. Lucky for him, he could put on music to lighten his mood, but for me, repeating his actions over and over in my head kept me occupied.
But there was the occasional thought of telling myself not to get too beaten over his erratic behavior since it’s nothing new. I guess if he were a robot, he would have some defects and bugs. That’s why he’s acting like this, and that put me at ease, or at least made me less tense than I am.
When we finally arrived at this big convention hall, I sucked in a deep breath. We were instructed to park at a particular spot, and everyone was dressed in corporate attire. This seems like a big deal. Mr.Reign turned off the engine and nodded at me, telling me to follow him.
