After I hung up the phone, I was still shaken.

“What happened?” My grandpa and Skye asked.

I looked over at Rory who was also visibly confused. 

“Jason was kidnapped.” I said.

“What?” They both exclaimed.

“By who?” My grandpa asked.

“They think it’s Jeremy.” I answered.

“Jeremy? Jeremy’s in jail. How could he possibly have a hand in this?” He asked. I still hadn’t told him that Jeremy escaped.

“I didn’t want to tell you before because I didn’t want you to worry but Jeremy escaped from police custody this morning.” I broke the news.
