“He looked somewhat familiar,” Raphael said, referring to the guy who had paid someone in the company to steal his plans. “I couldn’t figure out where I knew him from. I’ve looked through his file, everything I could find. Still, I didn’t see anything.”

“You think the story’s not clear?” I asked.

“There had to be something else. Why would Caleb reach out to him and threaten him? Why would he possibly have access to my company?”

“Then do more digging. I can help you if you want.” I offered.

“You don’t have to do that. You have a lot on your plate already.” He said dismissing the offer. “And besides, all the evidence points to their story. But I’m not buying it. There’s something bigger here. The truth will come out, it always does.”
