Chapter 135

Camilla’s POV

After Raphael left, I changed into more comfortable clothes and fell asleep. I was tired, physically, mentally, emotionally, and in every other way a person could be tired. This week before the relaunch event was just what I needed to get back in the right headspace. 

By the time I woke up, more than three hours had passed. Skye was also in the house. She was with Rory in the living room. I had told her what had happened over the phone and she was even more devastated than me.

She tried her best to cheer me up and suggested we go out for the day. I agreed because it was much better than staying all day indoors.

We got ready and got dressed, Skye, Rory, and I. We planned to just go out and shop and then have ice cream later before returning to the house.
