Raphael’s POV

It had been about 7 hours and Camilla still hadn’t woken up. The police were currently trying to trace the truck that hit her. It had no license plate so it was a bit hard.

I just had a gut feeling that Isaiah was involved in all of this. I just had to find a way to prove myself right. I told my team to find out Isaiah’s whereabouts and find any evidence that could tie him to the case. I would have joined them but I didn’t want to take my eyes off Camilla. I wanted to be by her side when she gained consciousness.

It was already morning and I had fallen asleep for a while. I was woken up by a knock on the door. It was a nurse. She came to check on Camilla but seeing as she wasn’t awake yet, she left the room.

I held Camilla’s hand and started talking to her like she could hear me. I started to blame my
