Raphael’s POV

The gala was going pretty well. All my anxiousness and nervousness had worn down as soon as we stepped out of that vehicle. The reporters outside were going crazy. They didn’t expect Camilla and me to be together, let alone me attending the event.

They asked a lot of personal questions but Camilla did the answering. She answered the questions with grace and didn't reveal too much about what they were asking. It made me proud watching her.

For the first few minutes, I went around greeting guests. This was an opportunity to network and make connections. There were a lot of influential people in the room. The kind who showed up because they respected the chairman.
