Raphael’s POV

I’d been trying to find out what Isaiah had been up to but it was hard. He was a very secretive person and didn’t leave any traces of his whereabouts. After Camilla told me he might have been involved in causing one of their shipments to be stopped, I told my team to look into it.

Camilla and I met at my house and we were discussing the gala. Christian had just called and told her that the shipment issue had been resolved.

We were sitting in this kind of uncomfortable silence. Since the topic of the gala was brought up, there was something both of us were avoiding talking about.
