Chapter 77

Camilla’s POV

The days were passing by fast and Rory still hadn’t returned to school yet because I hadn’t made a decision. The plan was to go to New York for Jason’s birthday and then figure out if I wanted to stay there or return to California.

We went to the store last night to get a gift for Jason. Rory asked me to get Spider-Man-themed toys because that was what Jason liked. We were on the plane to New York. I didn’t tell anyone that I was arriving that day, not even my grandpa or Skye.

We finally landed and the driver was already waiting to pick us up. We made our way to my grandpa's house.

When we got there, we got out of the car and made our way to the front door. I already knew he would be home since he hadn’t resumed work yet. I specifically told him not to leave the house in order not to overwork himself.
