Raphael’s POV

I was getting ready for work and also to take Jason to school. Even though I would normally let the driver and Tamara do the work when I’m busy at work, I made sure to drop him off every day this week. It was just an excuse to see Camilla. But so far, Martha has been the one doing the drop-offs. I was still hopeful though.

Since the Gala night, we hadn’t spoken to each other or even seen each other. I was trying to give her space because I knew that what happened that night would be difficult for her to talk about. So I wanted her to come to me when she was ready to talk.
