Chapter 97

Camilla’s POV

After 12 hours, Raphael had finally woken up. The drunk driver who had hit their car was already arrested. He tried to flee the scene earlier. Tori had managed to get out of the car with only a few injuries. When she had called me the previous night, I rushed to the hospital and then called Raphael’s mum and sister.

“Why did you choose to stay with me?” Raphael asked me. I didn’t really know why, his mum and sister could have been here but I volunteered to stay. 

“Because you’re the father of my child?” I said in a dismissive manner.

“That’s all?”

“Yes, why else would I be here?”

“So you’re not worried about me?”

“The doctor said you should rest. I think the concussion is making you say things.” I said
