Chris’s eyes darkened as a trace of coldness flashed in his eyes. He stared at the woman in a hood and lowered his head. To be honest, he was merely pretending to be powerless. Ever since he had started feeding on Alice, his powers were enhanced so much that he could jump around and wander in the sun all day without feeling exhausted.

Not only that, he felt that the vampires behind him were all so weak that he could defeat them with just a lift of his finger. He still continued to stand like that, acting as if he were under their control to gather more information.
