Chapter 196

Everyone knew what was about to happen at the airport. They went to a late lunch and departed for the airport at 2 PM for a 6 PM departure. Tony wore the specially designed body armor prosthesis that protected his lungs and heart from damage, just in case the bullet was off target by inches. Rose was not particularly happy about being shot, but she would do it, to keep her husband out of jail.

They all parked their cars in the short-term parking lot. Frank and Charlie wheeled the trolleys, with the bags, towards the terminal, where the press corps was waiting. They walked in their assigned positions and waited.
