We have reached the palace of blue fire. Since it was my third time here, I was already familiar with which room we were going through. Caleb has already run the horses back because they can't wait for us for the month that will pass before we return to this world.

Time moves much faster in the vampire world than in the human world. The few hours we spend in the human world are a very long time in our world. It will take months for us to come back; just crossing the tunnel between the two worlds will take several months.
